Easiest way to sum up tonight "Everybody hit, everybody scored". Our boys bats were on FIRE tonight.

#12 Sean Murphy had his first All Star in the park HOME RUN! Congratulations Murphy!

In the first inning our defensive out came courtesy of #6 Matt catching a fly ball in shallow right center. The 2nd inning outs where made when #12 Sean fielded a shallow pop up that landed between catcher and pitcher and threw the runner out at first with #2 Garrett receiving the ball at the bag. #2 Garrett also caught a foul pop up near first base for out #3. Our 3rd inning defensive plays were when #6 Matt fielded a ground ball hit between 1st and 2nd, and threw to #9 the SS Payton who was covering 2nd for out #1. The second out was also by #6 Matt the 2nd basemen, who fielded a ball hit towards 2nd and tagged the runner out. The third out was by #2 Garrett who fielded a ground ball between 1st and 2nd and beat the runner back to 1st to tag the bag for the out. Our final inning outs were secured by #9 Payton fielding a hard hit ground ball at short stop and making the throw to #28 Brian Rubin at 1st for out #1 and David at pitcher had a quick grab on a ball hit back to him and made the throw to #28 at first to finish the game.

When all was said and done our boys managed to tally up 42 hits. They showed great teamwork and sportsmanship this game.
